Terms & Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of WordPress development and support services (“Services”) provided by Starter WP, Inc., a Delaware Corporation (“Starter WP”, “we”, or “us”) with principal offices at 1920 McKinney Ave, Floor 7, Dallas, TX 75201. By submitting payment through our Stripe Checkout, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Starter WP provides ongoing development and technical support for WordPress websites, including:

  • Theme and plugin development

  • Bug fixes and technical troubleshooting

  • Performance and accessibility optimization

  • Strategy consulting and site audits

  • CI/CD setup, staging, and safe deployments

  • Third-party integrations and devops tasks

Services are billed by time and limited to the plan you select.

2. Plan Options and Billing

Plans are offered as a flat monthly subscription, payable in advance and automatically renewing unless canceled:

Core: $1,250/month for 6 hours

  • Hours expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

Growth: $3,500/month for 20 hours

  • Unused hours roll over month-to-month while your subscription remains active.

Scale: $6,000/month for 40 hours

  • Unused hours roll over month-to-month.

  • You may also “pull forward” up to 50% of the following month’s hours without an additional fee, as long as you commit to continuing the subscription into the next month.

All hours are tracked in 6-minute increments. Additional hours may be offered at Starter WP’s discretion or billed separately.

All payments are handled securely via Stripe. Starter WP does not store or process payment card details directly.

3. Communication and Support Channels

You may submit tasks via:

  • Email

  • Slack (if enabled for your plan)

  • Phone calls to your account manager

  • Ticket form or designated channels

We offer the following response and resolution service levels based on your plan:

Resolution times depend on task complexity but most standard requests are completed within 24–72 hours. We’ll keep you updated if something requires more time.

4. Termination and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Stripe billing portal. Services will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle.

Starter WP may cancel your subscription with 30 days’ notice, or immediately in the event of abuse, breach of these terms, or non-payment.

5. Ownership and Licensing

All custom work completed under your active subscription is licensed to you in perpetuity. You retain full rights to:

Any custom code or design developed for you

Work based on open-source software (e.g., WordPress) is subject to its original license terms, including the GNU General Public License (GPL).

6. Hosting and Third-Party Tools

You are responsible for your own web hosting. We may work directly with your host if access is provided. You are responsible for any third-party tools or services you choose to integrate with your site.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your data, business information, and credentials as confidential and will not share them without your permission, unless required by law.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Starter WP makes no guarantees about specific business outcomes resulting from the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you in the 90 days prior to the claim

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website. Your continued use of Services after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any legal action shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Acceptance

By completing checkout and using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
